Did you know that Doug LaMalfa’s Chief of Staff went to Shasta County and trashed Placer County? On the heels of the Placer GOP leading an effort to clear the democrats off of three school boards, electing Danny Cartwright to Loomis Town Council and defending Tracy Mendonsa in Roseville, you’d think someone as politically savvy as Spannagel would recognize the success?

To do so would be a tacit admission that the controlled franchise system set up by David Stafford Reade in the North State is a failure. (except for those all important convention delegates of course) Spannagel literally told the Shasta GOP that the Placer GOP is a failure because the Placer GOP does not raise money for their Republican Members of Congress. This is selfish and stupid – yet consistent with the 20 years of negative history I have with the Reade/Nielsen/LaMalfa regime.

Remember the end game folks. As I type this, the CAGOP “leadership” are trying to figure a way around the by-laws to endorse Faulconer.

Steve Frank got an excellent scoop from Shasta County:

  1. Shocked to see that the Chair of the Shasta County Republican Party has left the GOP.  Instead she has decided to join the cult of personality.

Read her email carefully—she is not supporting folks on her committee for their promotion of REPUBLICAN principles and values.  Instead, Cathy Kneer is promoting the Cult of Personality—either you support certain people or you can not be a member of the Committee.  No free speech, no diversity of IDEAS—just either support a couple of elected officials and a State Chair that does not register voters, does not run candidates for office, takes credit for the work others do without any support or direction from her.  Like Moscow and China, Cathy Kneer supports the Cult of Personality—not the values of the Republican Party.  Any wonder folks no longer participate with the official Party?  The Party has decided it does not want independent thinkers, just drones who do what they are told—even as the Party is diminished.

Did I mention the Shasta County Republican Party had only three people file for the Committee?  The rest were “appointed”, so you know no GOP’ers were appointed who were not willing to support the Cult of Personality instead of the Republican Party.—who would run for Central Committee or ask to be a part of it when the Chair says you will support certain people—otherwise leave the room and do not come back.

Then you have GOP County Committees like L.A. and Ventura that hold their meetings in secret and do not allow registered Republicans to even attend unless they are members of the Committee!

I would hope the the Dahles, LaMalfa and Patterson demand Kneer retract and apologize for her email.  If they don’t, it shows they are supporting turning the GOP into a Cult of Personality–thanks to the person in the LaMalfa office for alerting me to this email.

Hello,

The Shasta County Republican Central Committee will meet next week on April 15th at the Salvation Army Headquarters.

I want to let you all know that our bylaws have been updated and are being processed as we speak.  I believe they will be available by then.

As to the filling of vacancies on the committee, we have to be very careful as there is a faction out there trying to take over Central Committees to change the focus.  So, as we get settled, I will be talking with folks to see if their support lies with our Republican Leadership, including Jessica Patterson, Megan Dahle, Brian Dahle and Doug LaMalfa.

I will be sending out an agenda soon.

Thanks,

Cathy Kneer

(sad to see a political Party in America run for the power of a few over the principles of many)

Remember – only 3 people filed for Shasta County GOP Cent Com. When LaMalfa’s crew had a 4-2 majority, (3 elected and 3 ex-officio met to organize) they abused that majority to appoint 18 Doug LaMalfa staffers and donors to that body. It is fascinating that Cathy Kneer put the agenda of Spannagel in such plain terms in her email – but this has been the M.O. of every David Stafford Reade franchise County Party and “volunteer” Club they have created and maintained to create paper endorsements for their paying candidates.

Butte County? Same stuff. Their Chair Saolo Londono who is a staffer himself has been noted for raging on people he disagrees with (perhaps he is next in line for chair as he shares that key attribute with Jessica Patterson) and he has refused to share any information with anyone he does not like. Several people within Party leadership have noted no one outside Saolo, Spannagel and Reade know who the members of the Butte GOP are. Given that Butte is now a purple at best county (Chico is only 27% Republican and Paradise Burnt causing many Republicans to leave Butte County), you’d think there would be more cohesion there.

Nope – command and control is the order of the day.

Then there is the curious case of Yuba County. One person filed. Somehow, Stephen Heter who works for David Stafford Reade is the Chair there. Yuba did not have a legitimate organizational meeting and when your intrepid blogger called Yuba out on it – the response of Jessica Patterson was to appoint several people from the contested counties on to the proxies and credentials committee in order to cover up the violations of the by-laws. I will type again that I have spoken to a couple of attorneys who agreed that I’d beat the CAGOP in court for the blatant violations of their by-laws but would get little if anything in a settlement. This is why the corruption is so rampant within the CAGOP.

Heter for his trouble screamed like a little girl on a zoom meeting at the CAGOP Convention about being persecuted (while the FBI was coming to my door, mind you) and has subsequently stonewalled local activists looking to get involved.

Yuba County, another franchise of Reade, Inc. Similar to Butte, the rules of engagement have been changing weekly as both Londono and Heter are trying to stave off any attempts from undesirables to get appointed or involved in their committees.

Shasta, Butte, Yuba – establishment franchise county parties. They are not even coy about it. Watch them all closely.

Mike Garcia has a few problems. He has no name ID. He also has a T-Word Problem. I’ve looked at his social media and about a dozen campaign emails, not a single mention of President Trump by name. He is a Republican Refusenik.

Perhaps his consultants were taking cues from the Trump-Hating Steve Knight whose idiotic strategy in 2018 helped increase his margin of defeat. (ahem, even leftist polls show 95% GOP support of the President)

Allow your intrepid blogger to provide some unsoliticted advice.

Trying to look like a democrat when you are a Republican is idiotic. Democrats know who the real thing is (even if the democrat is a brainless marionette of leadership)

I am not so sure if in today’s world this is a wise move to advertise in one’s campaign. Perhaps Buck McKeon (Garcia’s top booster) has a Mitt Romney Complex?

John McCain has been outed as the conduit who sent the infamous dossier to the media once the corrupt FBI decided even they could not use it against PRESIDENT Trump. (say it Mike, I know you can do it)

Now – allow your intrepid blogger to give you two real world examples of Republican Leaders who understand the significance of 95% approval within the GOP.

If you look at Congressman LaMalfa’s social media, it has a lot of mentions of PRESIDENT TRUMP by name. (CA-01)

And here is Congressman McClintock (CA-04) with PRESIDENT TRUMP.

I’d like to thank the people forwarding me the CAGOP emails. once again, I have a yahoo account so there is some glitch where I don’t get them. Please keep them coming to aaronfpark71@yahoo.com.

Since blasting the CAGOP leadership over not using the “T” word, I’ve confirmed with a few CAGOP delegates that the “T” word appears to only be used in conjunction with Fundraising. Since the post of last week, three emails have appeared in the ether with fundraising appeals in them. They only mention Trump in conjunction with impeachment.

Two conversations with political insiders indicate that the “smart people” still think PRESIDENT Trump (the “T” word) is a net negative everywhere in California. This is probably the reason why the mentions of Trump are only in a negative context.

It appears that Congressmen Tom McClintock and Doug LaMalfa missed the memo about Trump avoidance as both appear quite happy to wrap themselves in the Trump banner. (Good for them both for doing so)

Blogger’s Notes: The “T” Word is President Trump and the CAGOP is the actual party leadership, not legislative leadership.

When I worked for Bill Halldin in the extremely crowded 2016 Assembly District 6 Primary, the team of James Gallagher, Doug LaMalfa, Frank Bigelow and Jim Nielsen – all partisan Republican officeholders came through with huge endorsements for Bill. Jim Nielsen and Frank Bigelow also followed up their endorsements with $4200 checks and assistance with other checks for Halldin’s campaign.

James Gallagher sent some staff who helped us on a few weekends. We had some of Jim Nielsen and Doug LaMalfa’s staff on a few weekends, with a lot on the final days of the campaign. Frank Bigelow’s staff were amazing, they helped us pretty much every weekend after Frank Bigelow endorsed Bill Halldin.

For this blogger personally, it was an interesting study in professionalism. I have been at the throats of several of the people in LaMalfa and Nielsen’s staff for years, yet here we were working together. This was a welcome change from the blood-letting that the GOP in California no longer has the luxury to do. Those that I worked with in the LaMalfa and Nielsen office were professional, polite and assisted Bill Halldin like a professional would do.

My interactions with those working for James Gallagher were even better. I have no negative history with Gallagher as I decided to support him in his primary, breaking traditional political lines in the North State. They all seemed to know, but more importantly their communication and approach suggested that they cared deeply about their district and people in it. Despite my issues with Gallagher on some internal party politics issues or allegiance issues – it is clear that James is an effective legislator with a clear reason for serving. His staff is a reflection of that.

Frank Bigelow’s staff blew my mind. What a great group of people. They even explained to me a few things about El Dorado County politics from a completely different perspective. (For example, having positive things to say about Vern Pierson) Without meaning a slight to the staff of the other three, the Bigelow Staff were almost 100% committed and assisting Halldin’s campaign and I had a lot of interactions with them. Bigelow’s staff were some of the most real people I’ve worked with from a legislator’s office in the nearly 20 years in the political trenches I’ve logged.

When I had interactions with Nielsen and Bigelow during this campaign, it was clear to me they were both trying to figure me out. They both made a lot of eye contact when we were chatting at a fundraiser event for Bill. I usually do not try to hide my feelings about anyone, and I will say that I have come from being hostile towards Nielsen to liking him.

Regarding Frank Bigelow, I did not support him when he ran against Rico Oller. Frank is not as conservative as I’d like him to be. However, it is clear to me that Bigelow is a “real dude”. I can forgive a lot of squishyness when I deal with a real dude. Bigelow’s character is clear as reflected in his staff. In most all cases a legislator’s staff is a reflection of the member. It was good to be able to get to know Mr. Bigelow a bit more. I hope that Bigelow, Nielsen and others would choose to start funding voter registration and other efforts as the dems are overrunning this state.

In this season of Thanksgiving, I’d like to thank the above four for helping Bill Halldin and I’d also like to thank the staff members I got to meet and work with. It was a great experience, here’s hoping that we cross paths on the same side again soon.

Footnote: Kevin Kiley won that primary and ultimately won the general election. The above four did indeed raise money and help Mr. Kiley in the fall as any good team players would do.

IMG_3555Joe Montes for Congress is the real deal. He has created jobs, run businesses and also prosecuted the bad guys.

The above resume represents more than trust-fund baby Doug LaMalfa has accomplished in his entire life. LaMalfa has been used to having everything his way and handed to him on a silver platter.

Perhaps this is why he is regularly seen staggering drunk in the halls of Congress now that he is in an environment where he can’t get his own way. The good ole days of wrecking a mustang under suspicious circumstances and having both the $16k bill and the circumstances mysteriously disappear are long gone for Mr. LaMalfa in the meat-grinder of Washington D.C.

Joe Montes has helped create over 200 jobs in Butte County. Doug LaMalfa and his family have ripped us all off for $6 million plus in farm welfare and LaMalfa voted for a bill to make tracking future farm welfare payments much more difficult.

Worse, LaMalfa’s scores from Conservative advocacy groups are horrendous. Heritage has given him a D. When LaMalfa ran for State Senate against Rick Keene, he falsely portrayed himself as a Conservative and as “One of Us”.

He was neither then, and still is not now. I know dozens, perhaps hundreds who were deceived in to believing that Doug LaMalfa was a conservative leader. They are off the reservation now and this is the nexus for the serious challenge to LaMalfa’s hegemony.

The powers that be set up a retirement-handoff for Doug LaMalfa a few years ago to get in to congress and are hastily arranging the deck chairs for LaMalfa’s impending retirement.

Vote for Joe Montes now and send two messages, 1. We are done with insider games and 2. We get to pick our own representatives.
