Kevin Kiley is broke after running through something like $1,100,000 trying to make the next step up the ladder to what looked like a plan to run for Congress.

Click here to see his 2020 Assembly Account with $4900 in Net Cash.

Click here to see his 2019 State Senate Account still showing a net -$109,000. What a waste of a Million Dollars.

Click here to see his 2020 State Senate Account drained down to $2200 – as money was transferred in to the 2019 account post defeat in order to pay bills. (Perfectly legal by the way)

The good news for Kevin Kiley is that your intrepid blogger received information that Fiona Ma was attempting to promote his democrat opponent at a recent event. The erstwhile democrat candidate appeared to be a blithering idiot. I’d rather get run over by a train than willingly vote for a democrat given a Republican alternative.

The issue for Mr. Kiley however, is that Congressman Tom McClintock is underwater on his favorables (news flash) and his suicide bomber opponent has $330k of Silicone Valley Techno Commie money in her Congressional Campaign account. The resulting vote harvesting drill will tighten his margin in Placer County unless he mounts some sort of counter effort. (And does not just spend it all on mail and radio) The opponent to McClintock is a 50 year old AOC clone, so she is out there with Che Guevarra so that will help as well.

If the democrats were serious about challenging McClintock or Kiley they could go to the Sacramento Zoo and have better luck finding opponents.

I am expecting Kiley’s liberal millionaire donor base in the Bay Area to make sure he has enough money to walk and chew gum at the same time. The PAC donors from the Sacramento Cesspool will also do their part as well.

I’ve written about Kevin Kiley for several months now and why I believe he is not trustworthy nor qualified to be in any office, let alone the Assembly or State Senate. I have come to believe that Kiley will say and do anything he thinks he needs to in order to get what he wants politically.

These include text message and email attacks attacking several of his colleagues including Conservative Stalwart James Gallagher for signing a letter supporting Rural Healthcare. While Dahle, Gallagher and several democrats with rural farming districts signed a letter in support of rural healthcare services – Kiley blasted them all for doing it. Why? because said services may be performed for illegal alien farm laborers.

Kiley’s campaign is broke. His Mailers are going to very small universes, his radio and TV ads are sparse and he has been forced to return to the coven of Obama Donors he relied upon for nearly $500,000 in IE money and campaign donations in his original election to AD06 in 2016. Kiley admitted to being $100,000 in the hole after the primary was over. Instead of paying vendors, he placed more media buys and is likely in debt 2-3 times what we have seen.

He has been forced to make his latest batch of attacks via press releases, emails and text messages. He and his campaign consultant are doing a lot of whining these days – an indicator of a campaign that is not confident in their prospects at all. Dave Gilliard is a talented consultant and very competent, but he has a long set pattern when he knows a race is tied or his candidate is trailing. He (Gilliard) tends to scorch the earth as if to say if I can’t have it no one can, almost like a Kamikaze. When you add in Kevin Kiley’s own character flaws amplifying this effect, it explains why the number of political insiders talking negatively about Mr Kiley has exploded in the last three weeks. (It is really hard to find someone that will defend Kiley)

On May 24, 2019 – Kiley voted YES on AB557. From the official analysis by the Assembly Staff – with emphasis on a paragraph from extreme left wing lesbian activist Susan Eggman the author:

Maternal mental health conditions have impacts far beyond the mothers that are experiencing them – they also influence the well-being of children, families, and communities. New parents already deal with incredible challenges adapting to the responsibility of an expanding family, but low-income women and women of racial/ethnic minorities, like many of the women in my community, are disproportionately affected by maternal mental health disorders, as they face unique barriers to diagnosis and treatment. Maternal mental health is of increasing concern because of the high prevalence of depression and anxiety during the perinatal period and the resulting long-term implications of delayed, inconsistent, or absent treatment. Extending the duration of continuity of care for pregnant women with a maternal mental health condition who have had to switch health coverage plans, and extending full scope Medi-Cal benefits for undocumented pregnant women will ensure that they receive important pregnancy-related and post-partum health care, including mental health care.

Kevin Kiley just voted to fund healthcare services for illegal aliens in California having Anchor Babies. People in glass houses should not throw stones. Kiley has been weak on the immigration issue in the past, trying to avoid it like the plague – that is until he saw polling in 2019 showing Illegal Immigration being the number one issue among Republican Voters. Similar to his fraudulent Cattle Ranch, Kiley has attempted to deceive voters that he is solid on illegal immigration.

This is the same Kevin Kiley that has been lit up in the past for his refusal to take clear stands on a variety of issues:

Recently, at a town hall meeting in Rocklin, Kevin Kiley was asked a direct question about the extreme left-wing homosexual indoctrination curriculum that was adopted by the Rocklin Unified School District. Kiley did not answer the question, instead he filibustered. (Source, more than one person present at the meeting)

This is not surprising as Kiley has filibustered immigration questions in radio interviews in the past.

This is not surprising as Kiley attempted to dodge answering a question about the State of Jefferson, getting called on it by the talk show hosts. (and Kiley bailed out on the interview)

This is not surprising as Kiley refuses to give a straight answer about the Abortion Issue. (Source, several public appearances)

Well, Kiley did give a straight answer once. He admitted he does not own a gun.

A couple more recent examples of Mr. Kiley refusing to take stands were the Lincoln City Audit that just exploded in to the local rag. Apparently, the City of Lincoln has major issues and Mr. Kiley was remiss to stand up. I wrote about Stan Nader withdrawing his endorsement of Kiley as a result of his waffling. Secondly, while both Hime and Dahle took the wrong stand in the CAGOP Chairman’s race, they took a stand. Kevin Kiley did not endorse, yet his proxy ended up in the hands of Kevin Eastman, a staffer of the Jim Nielsen machine turned lobbyist. (This means he voted for Jessica Patterson as well – note, I was paid by Travis Allen and have since publicly pledged to honor the results of the CAGOP officer elections) I have more respect for Hime and Dahle making the wrong choice than Kiley, who tried to play both sides.

***

Mr. Kevin Kiley said in a Sacramento Bee Interview that the issues of Legalizing Weed, the Delta Tunnels and High Speed Rail are very unimportant to him. This suggests the influence of his Bay Area donors, where the Tunnels are a non issue, but legalizing Weed and HSR are popular. This is called trying to split the baby.

Once again Kevin Kiley is caught trying to play both sides against the middle. This time voting to fund healthcare for Mothers having anchor babies, while pointing a self-righteous finger at Brian Dahle and James Gallagher for trying to preserve rural healthcare funding that affects their districts in a major way. It seems eerily similar to demonizing the DMV Office in the capitol that members use to help their constituents.

The world is shrinking around Kevin Kiley and if I was him I’d start trying to figure out how to get re-elected to his Assembly position in 2020.

RINO

The Govern For California Action Committee has this to say about the candidates they prefer:

Upon closer inspection, Californians would learn that the missing ingredient is courage. In the case of Democrats, courage means the willingness to buck narrow special interests seeking ever-greater shares of government spending at the expense of programs, taxpayers and private-sector job growth. In the case of Republicans, courage means the willingness to buck no-tax groups who, even when presented with all the reforms they seek, refuse to acknowledge that sometimes more revenue for the government can produce better outcomes. And in the case of all legislators, courage means an unshakeable dedication to honest budgets, truthful accounting, open government and governing for the people rather than for personal gain or narrow interests.

It is clear that the sustained attacks on Kevin Kiley’s real issues have gotten a response from the Bay Area Liberals that have financed Kevin Kiley’s campaign.

I am not sure why the oligarchy funding Mr. Kiley’s effort figured that the suburban, conservative district would take well to a recent transplant from San Francisco, funded by San Francisco running for Assembly. (Remember, Kiley moved to an apartment in Rocklin on 5/14 and declared his candidacy on 5/27/2015).

The Govern for California Action Committee has come in with the following:

23,000 in Digital Ads
102,000 in Radio Ads
43,000 in Astroturf Paid Phone Banking calls
18,500 for a mailer
16,000 for a mailer

Total = $203,000

The size and scope of the expenditure suggests and emotional or panicked aspect to the effort as well as an attempt to shotgun blast to the entire electorate.

Please further note that this committee is the intermediary listed on Kevin Kiley’s report that is responsible for at least $200,000 out of the $250,000 of Bay Area Liberal money Kiley has raised.

It is a fair question to ask – what did Kevin Kiley promise these Bay Area Liberals in exchange for their support?

Why is a PAC led by an Obama Bundler (of $180,000) pouring last minute money in to Kevin Kiley?

Nelson EPICFAILWhen you get in to a campaign and it is not well thought out you #EPICFAIL routinely. Click the screenshot of the Campaign Facebook Page of Cristi Nelson.

#AD10 comprises all of Marin County and some of Sonoma County. Point Reyes National Seashore is in AD10. I could show Cristi Beckstead-Nelson some cool hiking spots in #AD10. Heck John Muir Redwoods and Golden Gate National Rec Area are also in #AD10. I’d get lost trying to campaign in that district.

Beckstead-Nelson forgot her own name apparently and has also forgotten what district she is running for. This 11 person race is getting more bizarre by the second.

For those of you that are still wondering about AD10 – check out a photo or two of it:

The Folsom Chamber of Commerce held a candidate forum last night. It featured 9(!) of the candidates for #AD06. For reasons unbeknownst to me, Brian Caples and the other Dem were no-shows.

I am going to focus on the funded candidates – so let me summarize the others quickly before the fun part.

“Bo” – rambled. He also attacked the GOP (because he is an NPP don’t you know) and came across poorly as a result.

Gabriel Hydrick – the Lincoln Councilmember presented himself well and as an honest broker. Hydrick seemed to have a grasp of issues. This version of Hydrick is markedly different than the man I have been hearing about for the last 6 years in Lincoln. Hydrick has no money, no access to money and looks to be headed to also-ran status.

As a side note, I liked his ballot statement that he submitted when he filed for office. I told him as such afterwards.

Suzanne Jones – came across poorly. She distinguished herself by attacking the others on the stage railing on everyone for getting financial support while asserting her moral superiority. Just not a good way to go.

Mik. Sounded like one of the Good-fellas. He is a leader. Just ask him. He will tell you, repeatedly. We will be relieved of seeing him on street corners very soon.

And, now for the fun:

Cristi Beckstead-Nelson, robotic. She was reciting from memory off of her website. It was so bad that on more than one occasion she forgot her lines. She did indeed repeat the lie of being a business owner multiple times. It made me feel like I was time warped back to 2011 when I witnessed another unqualified, inarticulate candidate with a falsified resume make similar public gaffes.

Beckstead-Nelson looked miserable and her disdain for other candidates while they were speaking was palpable. I’ve been told by more than one person that has interacted with Ms. Beckstead-Nelson that she is very status conscious and is remiss to interact with average people unless there is a direct benefit to do so. This was clear to this blogger by virtue of her behavior on the stage.

Beckstead-Nelson has had a large head start on the rest of the field and she appears to have been caught up to and passed in a short time. That has to be frustrating for her. Maybe she should have not filed and reimbursed her husband the $100k she wasted, I mean “lent” her campaign.

Kevin Hanley was much more subdued last night and presented good answers to most questions. He is attempting to walk right through one of his biggest weaknesses, Auburn. He frequently referred to his time on the Auburn City Council and the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.

Hanley’s campaign seems to be stuck in time. Mr Hanley touts his resume, which includes 24 years of government work. Even before Hanley’s performance last night, I was clear there is no question that Hanley is qualified for the job. I can’t say I can blame Hanley for what he is doing, however I think modern campaigns have left Mr. Hanley behind.

Andy Pugno certainly appeared confident, if not cocky about the prospects of his campaign for Assembly by virtue of the way he carried himself. When he was not distracted by his cell phone, he gave unrehearsed answers to questions that sometimes included stories.

Pugno was the only candidate that specifically mentioned the social issues. Halldin did by inference – those are the only two that went there. Pugno also made it clear how he intends to attack at least one of his foes – referencing public employee union money and his plan to not take any of it. (Like they would attempt to donate or endorse Mr. Pugno to begin with)

Kevin Kiley was indeed the most bizarre candidate of the evening. Kiley spoke to the audience as if he was arguing a case in court. When he was not speaking, he was fidgeting and giving off an aura of superiority. Both are quite a spectacle for a young man of 31 years of age who has never been married and has no real-world job experience.

Kiley almost spoke of himself in the third person and like Pugno was using lawyer vernacular and large words in his presentations. I am not sure how Pugno or Kiley relate to the public at large – or if either of them care. Both appear to believe that they have this race locked up.

I have endorsed Bill Halldin. I am actively working to help his campaign. Therefore I believe that Bill Halldin was the clear winner of last night’s forum. Halldin answered all of the questions well and all there acknowledged that Mr. Halldin was ready to go.
