With the dust settled on last night’s Placer GOP Meeting, allow your intrepid blogger to lay out some facts and tell some of the back story behind Thomas N Hudson’s attempted lynching of Kirk Uhler last night.

Tami Uhler is Kirk’s wife. One of the more disgusting attacks from the classless pseudo-conservative Suzanne Jones and the crazed deluded Thomas N Hudson has been surrounding Tami’s employment. Tami Uhler is an assistant DA for Placer County. She prosecutes White Collar Crime and has some others that she supervises. This is who Hudson and Jones are attacking. Note: both Jones and Hudson are attorneys, perhaps they are jealous of the fact that Mrs. Uhler actually makes a real impact in her law practice. Note that the recent pay raise was given to all employees in that department and the vote was 4-0. Why was it 4-0? Because Kirk did not vote on it. Those facts were avoided by Mr. Hudson and Mrs. Jones.

Their dishonesty alone should disqualify both of them from further service on the Placer GOP Central Committee, but wait there’s more from their nearly 10 minutes of base personal attacks on the character of Uhler in their coordinated, clearly pre-planned stunt they pulled last night. I will continue after we go through just the facts…

Here’s the recap on the Tour-de-Uhler vs Suzanne Jones.

Stopped numerous proposed county fee increases – including dump fees and car assessments

Recruited Bonnie Gore to run for Supervisor against Jack Duran
Led Fight Against 27% Pioneer Energy Rate Increase, getting it slashed by more than half
Provided material aid and support to the Informed Parents of Rocklin

Kirk Uhler also raised money used to take out Rene Aguilera, David Larson and Jack Duran from local office – three activist liberal democrats

While Suzanne Jones has spent over a decade shopping various offices, Kirk Uhler has been making a difference in Placer County.

Everyone in Local Government will verify that Kirk Uhler was the prime mover behind Bonnie Gore challenging Jack Duran. He helped her raise a ton of money as well as raising the money I spent attacking Jack Duran in 2018.

Thomas N Hudson’s divorce has been going on for 7 years. This is my opinion based on What I know of the situation and because I believe Thomas N Hudson is truly insane. The only thing that matters to him is trying to keep Carlene, his soon to be ex from getting half of the marital estate. He appears to be making more and more filings specifically to delay the court process until he bankrupts Carlene and her family in an attempt to “win”. I do believe that the only thing Hudson likes more than the Box Wine in his refrigerator is money. What a sad, empty life.

That was on display last night as I sat through what I believed to be some pretty raw hatred.

Having had my wife attacked several times by political cowards because they know they can’t get to me – seeing Thomas N Hudson accuse Uhler and the County of Placer of Sleaze and Corruption was rather pointed. Having watched Thomas N Hudson spiral in to alcoholic delusion in the last 7-10 years and having been there at one point in my life made watching the flame out last night a stark reminder of what I left behind more than 17 years ago. I feel very little sympathy for Thomas N Hudson’s life because he knows better than to live and behave like he is behaving.

Kirk had nothing to do with his wife’s job. He has had nothing to do with her pay raise (she’s only gotten one in the last ten years by the way).

Hudson also brought up the machinations of a campaign for assembly from 24 years ago. That campaign was so long ago that I still lived in Scottsdale Arizona when it happened. I was not even a registered voter then as well. That’s correct, Hudson was venting a grudge from a generation ago and at that – his recollection of the events was grossly inaccurate.

He brought up some internal CRA fights from 2015 and invoked the name of a former member of the Cent Com and former candidate for Roseville City Council in an outright lie over the course of events.

The only two things Hudson was semi-accurate about was the full time supervisor initiative and the Measure E 1/2-cent Transportation Sales Tax. Again, however Hudson’s paranoid fantasies of conspiracies overtook the handful of legitimate criticisms one may have of the two items.

Suzanne Jones for her measure must have been quite rattled after I spoke. (I spoke for a few minutes on Kirk’s behalf after Hudson’s 10 minute character attack) I did not need to bring notes with me like Hudson and Jones did. I spoke off the cuff about everything I remembered that Kirk has done in recent years (see the above list). It must have been devastating because Suzanne Jones’ response was to read two anonymous emails that were sent to Mark Wright the chairman of the placer GOP.

Apparently the authors of the emails did not exist in the voter registration database – but Suzanne Jones seemed to know who they both were. She identified two well-known anti-growth NIMBY groups that they were affiliated with. Apparently, they could not handle being dressed down for their BANANA or NIMBY – based stupidity and decided a semi-anonymous attack would assuage their bruised egos.

All Suzanne Jones did was look like a jerk by reading the letters.

She is the sitting 1st Vice Chair of the Placer GOP and should be resign from that position. She could not even get her own committee to endorse her campaign. If you are the second in command of a group and you can’t gain the trust and confidence of that group for a run for office that’s the ballgame.

As one member put it to me, she is not a conservative, does not inspire and said nothing about why to vote for her.

It is clear that Hudson and Jones orchestrated a sneak attack and took advantage of Mark Wright by violating parliamentary procedure and decorum in what they did last night.

Thomas N Hudson solicited a motion to Reconsider. It needed 2/3 to pass. It barely got 1/3. Kirk Uhler was basically endorsed a second time after the vile smears of Thomas N Hudson.

If any of you want to know what Hudson’s ex-Wife is going through – multiply last night by the 15ish years they were married and together and the 7 years of the divorce being dragged out.

I was proud to defend my friend and political ally of many years Kirk Uhler. Anyone reading this blog – especially people on the Placer GOP Cent Com should really evaluate what you saw last night and ask yourself if you can trust Thomas N Hudson as parliamentarian or Suzanne Jones as First Vice Chair. (Let alone Jones anywhere near office)

Last night’s Placer GOP Central Committee meeting was apparently special. This post is not about that.

But, in related news about Thomas N Hudson’s struggle for relevance he and Steve Frank have been calling everyone with a pulse to see if they can find someone to oppose Prop 54.

Prop 54 is the transparency in government initiative and was put on the Ballot by Charles Munger. Apparently, their only reason for opposing this is because it was put on the ballot by Charles Munger who financed it.

I guess we all need to vote yes on 54.

My Take on Placer County’s Measure M

I support Measure M because the average person will add 4 hours a week back in to their life in the form of time not lost stuck in traffic.

I support Measure M because businesses will either stay or locate in Placer County because it will be much less difficult to navigate the freeways.

I support Measure M because the projects built will benefit our area long after I have gone. The Placer Parkway has been a 30 year dream and getting I-80 the rest of the way out of the 50’s are a big deal, but pale in comparison to fixing the Jerry-Brown NIMBY/BANANA inspired 65/I-80 Interchange which was designed to thwart the extension of 65 down the Sierra College / Hazel Corridor.

I support Measure M because while I have no Children of my own, other people do and their Children will get safer routes to school in the form of trails, paths, sidewalks and wider roads diverting traffic away from smaller streets that schools are commonly on.

I support Measure M because it will actually bring cleaner air – idling cars stuck in traffic are toxic and worse waste a lot of gas.

I support Measure M because at an average cost of $63 a year a HOUSEHOLD (not a person), it saves an estimated $370 a year in vehicle maintenance and at least $800 a year in wasted gas. (at $2.50 a gallon)

How much is 4 more hours a week worth?

Who wouldn’t spend $63 to save $1000+?

Let me answer that. A collection of short-sighted nimbys engaging in dog whistle politics.

Kevin Hanley lied in his recent column and the ballot argument against (written by a man proven to be ethically challenged, Thomas N Hudson) is equally as deceptive.

The money can’t be stolen by the State Government. It is written in to the constitution. They claim otherwise.

The Money has to be spent on what is specifically written in to the measure. This is clearly delineated. This is also a provision in the California State Constitution. Only 1% can be spent on administration, they claim otherwise with hyperbolic claims of fraud and corruption.

After Measure M passes, perhaps they should volunteer to serve on the citizen’s oversight committee that Measure M calls for.

Hanley’s column suggested that the County could jack up developer fees to pay for the projects in Measure M. This is a Lie, and Mr. Hanley knows it. If he does not, then Auburn was wise to depose him as a council-member and the Chamber should terminate him post-haste. The developer fees are at their Constitutionally allowed maximum, meaning raising them is illegal.

Is Mr. Hanley proposing local government waste millions of limited funds defending lawsuits they will certainly lose? Or, is Mr. Hanley proposing a constitutional amendment to raise developer fees?

Hanley infested the state government for years as has Thomas N Hudson (who still does) – both have participated in writing legislation and they should know what the state Constitution says. Hudson works for the taxing authority, how his public stance on a tax measure is not a conflict of interest is only something ethically challenged lawyers could machinate.

For a pair of so-called Conservatives, they sure have selective constitutional memory loss when it suits them. (Not to mention Hanley’s support of serial tax-raiser John “Obamacare” Kasich for President)

The issue for Hudson and Ken Campbell is their long standing history of Nimby-ism combined with pseudo conservative party-of-no politics. The issue for Kevin Hanley is a desperate need for relevance even though he was rejected soundly by the voters of an assembly district he does not live in.

While these people hide behind their veneer of so-called conservative values – this Conservative and many others are trying to fix a long-term problem that will save average people 15-20 times their personal cost of doing so. Measure M will remove a major barrier to economic development, enhance personal safety, and improve quality of life by slashing commute times.

That sounds like one heck of a conservative agenda. Acknowledging as such would mean that Mr Hanley, Campbell and Hudson would have to be team players and drop their ideological narcissism. This would shake their very existence to its’ core.

Kevin Hanley had years to fix the system. Instead, he was a part of it and lived so well off of it that he was able to spend $130K+ of his own money on an assembly race. Tom Hudson had years to fix the system and he makes $166k a year off of it, with benefits no average Californian will ever see and cries poor to anyone who will listen. Now they are both on a vainglorious personal rampage for relevance at the expense of all of us.

Kevin Hanley and Thomas N Hudson are going to receive six-figure pensions for life at all of our expense. While they are living large retiring in their early 60’s, they prefer so see the rest of us who still have to work stuck in traffic.

Thomas N Hudson sent out an email a few weeks ago referring to Courage Worldwide as a “Bogus Charity”. He lied. Don’t hold your breath waiting for a retraction to be issued to the estimated 1000 people he BCC’ed on the email he sent.

In his zeal to “Be Right” he sent out an email celebrating a hit piece written by an overzealous clearly anti-Christian reporter at the Sacramento Bee.

Once the absurdities of the “Issues” brought by idiot bureaucrats (did I mention that Thomas N Hudson is a $166,000 a year employee of the State of CA?) were day-lighted, guess what happened?

STATE DISMISSES NUMEROUS CITATIONS AGAINST COURAGE HOUSE

ROCKLIN – Courage Worldwide said today that after the appeal process and a positive programming conference with state officials, the organization is in good standing with state regulators and plans to rehire and train new staff to reopen Courage House immediately.

The state has dismissed three program citations and the organization has appealed the remaining ones, noting the state’s prior approval of all Courage House programs and policies.

The organization is pleased to announce they will resume accepting girls after staff is rehired and trained, since state officials agreed cell phones can be dangerous to the residents and staff at Courage House. Courage House policies can now deny the use of cell phones and other equipment dangerous to the girls and/or their recovery on a case-by-case basis.

The Courage Worldwide Board of Directors said:

“The population we serve is extremely unique and often existing state regulations regarding the care of minor children do not take into consideration their complex trauma and past association with criminals and the dangerous world of human trafficking.

“We are gratified that the state has granted a number of our appeals and has agreed cell phones pose a real danger to the girls in our care since they link these vulnerable children back to the people who trafficked them. The cell phone is the preferred mechanism of the trafficker to market and sell under-age girls on the internet. Our organization will continue to challenge and appeal any regulations we feel endanger the children we serve or the staff who serve them.

“We are excited to resume serving girls later this year after we rehire and train appropriate staff. All of our fundraising efforts will be focused on recruiting, hiring and training qualified staff. The state agreed that our pause on accepting new residents was wise in light of new licensing that will allow Courage House to now function as a Short Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) instead of a Group Home. ”

The organization, which operates 24-hour residential homes in Tanzania and Northern California as well as an extensive program to educate communities about sex trafficking issues, decided to temporarily close its Northern California site in mid-June as it worked to meet new California licensing requirements, hire staff who meet the new requirements while appealing program citations cited by the state that the organization felt endanger residents and staff.

The Northern California 52 acre property currently has beds for 6 girls with a campus plan to build ten cottages for a total of 60 residents. Currently, Courage Worldwide has completed 85% of the county permitting process to begin construction on the first cottage by year end. The Tanzania home is currently serving 6 girls, with a capacity to serve 12. Courage Worldwide anticipates both homes being at capacity by year end since they have had over 350 requests for placement since opening. Courage House Northern California and Tanzania have been fully operational for 5 years, opening in 2011 for girls age 11 to 17, providing round-the-clock treatment services 365 days a year. Its program has received national recognition and to date over 65 girls have called Courage House home.

Though Courage House Nor Cal paused its residential operations for several months, the organization has been fully operational continuing its extensive education, advocacy and outreach programs as well as support for former residents of its home here in the Sacramento region.

I won’t hold my breath waiting for an apology from Thomas N Hudson. He is of a class of political operatives that live in a relative world and his alleged conservative values are but a thinly veneered resume used to make money. Hudson desperately needed to be right as Courage received money from the Placer CRA when it was dissolved. Hudson re-formed a shell in order to assuage his bruised ego and saw the opportunity for a cheap shot as validation.

In the mean time – a fine upstanding Charity, unique in its’ mission was smeared by the Sacramento Bee, using disgruntled former employees and the CRA’s Pol-Pot Bellied Information Minister as delivery vehicles.

Courage Worldwide is not his only recent victim – Hudson wrote a series of deceptive and misleading ballot arguments against a host of measures, regardless of their merits or otherwise. There is no moral inhibition once he thinks he is right on what he does and he got Ken Campbell, Deborah Jackson and others to sign onto his deceptions. Special.

Measure M Update: Auburn Chamber Endorses, Running Over the Tropical Depression and Pol Pot

What a headline you may exclaim.

For those of you with short memories, allow your intrepid blogger to remind you about Kevin “Tropical Depression” Hanley. (“Hurricane” Hanley is what he called himself in the AD06 campaign.) Kevin Hanley was deign to tell people that the Chamber of Commerce he was the CEO of was in fact, Auburn.

Auburn is not in AD06. Kevin Hanley had to pull a Gaines and move to run in AD06.

During the ill-fated campaign that saw Mr. Hanley blow through $130k+ of his own money despite having the fundraising machine of Congressman Tom McClintock behind him, he was the glorious crusader for truth and justice against funding much-needed transportation improvements.

This great evil is now known as Measure M. Measure M has been necessitated by the inaction of so many in partisan office as well as the priorities of Sacramento which are welfare payoffs to voters. Don’t bother the Tropical Depression with the facts of life in California.

Enter the CRA’s Pol-Pot Bellied Information Minister Thomas N Hudson. Hudson apparently does not want Baseline Road widened in front of his lair. As I have written before, the information minister likely has a shrine to money in his living room and anything that takes a dime (in this case about $60 a year) from his shrine is apostasy.

In order to save said $60 a year, Hudson fired up the crane and hoisted himself in to his car to attend the 7:30 AM meeting of the Auburn Chamber’s Government Relations Committee. On or about 9/8/2016 Hudson and Hanley argued in vain against the truth of the need in Placer County.

I am sure Thomas N. Hudson spent an extra $15 on gas getting to the chamber meeting as the Prius was won by his soon-to-be ex-wife at the Casino is with her. So I am sure he drove one of his bought-at-auction 20 year old clunkers. (But, I am sure he is trying to steal the Prius from her in his divorce) One should also wonder if Mr. Hudson was able to make it to his taxpayer funded $166,000 a year job in time after the Auburn Chamber set fire to he and the Tropical Depression. (The Capitol Building is an easy hour from Auburn)

For those of you separating the humorous satire of stupidity from the sad reality, you are probably asking yourself why the CEO of a Chamber of Commerce turned himself in to an advocate on a local issue before the Chamber itself acted?

There was a campaign to win and a vainglorious crusade. During the AD06 campaign, a lot of people had their blinders on as did Hanley. The Tropical Depression hired a pro-gay marriage, pro-marijuana legalization, anti capital punishment, soft-on-abortion recently registered Republican as a campaign operative while campaigning as a hard-right Conservative. I’ve also yet to hear about Mr. Hanley offering his support to our nominees Kevin Kiley or Donald Trump for that matter. (ironically, the “hard-right” Hanley supported John Kasich)

Will Kevin Hanley resign his position as CEO of the Auburn Chamber? Did he really mean it when he was attacking people for supporting (what is now known as) Measure M? How can he advocate the position of the Auburn Chamber when he took a hostile action and lost unanimously against?

The Tropical Depression can take solace in the fact that the CRA’s Pol-Pot Bellied Information Minister is going to spend his every waking hour (sober or otherwise) trying to keeeeeeeel Measure M. One must avenge the infamy of Measure B.

That is the question everyone should be asking – will Kevin Hanley do the honorable thing and resign his position as CEO of the Auburn Chamber? There is no way anyone can trust him to do his job now that his signature issue has been unanimously endorsed by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.
