I had warned a couple people I spoke with three months ago when 30+ Placer County leaders signed a letter to the Bee about Hannah Holzer and the Bee’s overall psychotic rampage against Placer County. What was the warning? Sign the letter, because the more that sign, the more chance you have to actually effect change.
Showing weakness to psychos is only going to embolden them. This situation with Holzer went down EXACTLY as I predicted. Not enough people had the courage to sign the letter, and the Bee would shelve her for a couple months, and then they would start beating their chest again. Had 50+ people signed the letter, the outcome may have been different.
Do not forget that it is widely believed that the lies spewed by the Joseph Goebbels-esque Hannah Holzer whipped the students of UC Davis into a Christian-hating frenzy that resulted in a riot on campus. It appears that Sacramento Bee is proud of this and is now officially on a rampage jihad against the Christian Church.
Holzer popped up out of the Sacramento Bee editorial toilet with a psychotic, nearly satanic hit piece on Placer County Churches. The thrust of the piece was that anyone who disagrees with the Sacramento Bee editorial board is a “Christian Nationalist”. The goal was to equate faith with being a Nazi… the exact kind of tactics Nazis used against Christians in the 1930s in Germany (in that case it was labeling them subversives, communists, etc.)
Placer County’s insidious brand of Christian nationalism has infiltrated the Capital City: Rocklin’s Destiny megachurch will take over leadership of Sacramento’s Capital Christian Center and Capital Christian School, located in the Rosemont suburb.
The local rise of Christian nationalism, emboldened since Donald Trump’s election to the presidency, is the culmination of a conservative backlash against a changing, progressive — and increasingly secular — society. According to a 2021 Pew Research study, nearly three in 10 American adults now say they are unaffiliated with a religion.
But wait, there’s more…
“Are we afraid of a vaccine, liberal school boards, racial social agendas, (critical race theory), LGBTQ agenda?” Fairrington asked his congregation in August of 2021 . “The gender-neutral doctrine, anti-America, radical groups like Black Lives Matter?”
Destiny’s role in spreading a dangerous, anti-Democracy, anti-American Christian nationalist agenda extends further than its church doors: Tanner DiBella, who serves on Destiny’s executive leadership team, is president of The American Council, a Placer County advocacy group with a mission to insert a “biblical world view” into California politics. The advocacy group endorses a Christian nationalist movement.
Got it? Disagree with the Bee, preach traditional Christian Values and you are an evil creature.
So, to those in Placer County that think you can actually talk to the Sacramento Bee and reason with them, you are fools. This is what they think and they just decided to stand on the mountain and re-introduce Hannah Holzer who should be working for the Chinese Communist Party or something similar in to the mix.
The Bee want to throw you in jail. If you disagree, re-read the opinion column from her and then ask yourself… the Bee’s editorial staff signed off on this, and what are the underlying themes here? Then understand, you’re next.
—- Yolo County GOP Update —-
Chris Bish is now a regular member of the Yolo GOP despite living in Sacramento County and setting up run #4 for Congress. With 7% as the bar, you could imagine she is trying for 8 this time.
There is another member of leadership in that committee that alternates between libertarian registration and Republican.
There is a third person doing a lot of leadership stuff for the Yolo GOP who is not a member of the committee.
All three of these things are violations of the Yolo GOP By-Laws and some may violate state law as well…
… but hey! Dan Brown is in control of a shrinking Yolo GOP!
But the methods to maintain control seem pretty similar to the stuff they decry from the “establishment”.
