The official Hairgel of California.

Government bungling and California. This is your government at work.

I got a call from a whistleblower who works in the bowels of California Government. He told me something that will surprise no one, but is so apropos for the State of California, I could not help but blog about it.

Here’s the rub, if you are unvaccinated, the State of CA makes you take a test every week. Since the staff of the State of CA are mostly socialists and social justice warriors, over 90% of them dutifully got their shots at the behest of Governor Hairgel.

This means that the State of CA ordered way too many tests as they were expecting 1/4 to 1/3 of their workforce to be unvaxxed.

Did the State of CA share the tests? No. However, it appears that people in local offices have been somehow. I have to delete some of the details in order not to burn my source – but the upshot is that a few employees in local offices aware of the excess tests (many expire on 2-11 thru 2-15 2022) have been trying to get some out to places that need them.

I have talked to all kinds of people who needed covid tests or have been delayed getting the tests. It looks like the CA State bureaucracy has contributed substantially to that problem.

Why hasn’t the State of CA moved the tests around? Why is the bureaucracy ignoring this issue? Why were tests alloted to departments with no accounting for the actual disposition of the departments.

Just another day in the Hairgel administration.

Your intrepid blogger received a copy of  letter from Eric Eisenhammer and the Gold Country Taxpayer’s Association.

What I find stunning is that the staff of the WPWMA DID NOT DO A TECHNICAL ANALYSIS/REVIEW OF THE BIDS!!! In something so highly regulated, what competent staff would make such a glaring mistake?

Date: January 13, 2022

To: WPWMA Board Members

From: Gold Country Taxpayers’ Association

RE: Agenda Item 9(a) – MRF and WRSL Operations Procurement

Honorable Board Members,

The Gold Country Taxpayers Association supports ethical and accountable leadership for our communities, lower taxes, and smarter regulations. It is in support of our core mission that we are writing to you today regarding the MRF and WRSL Operations Procurement this evening’s agenda.

We have been following this issue on your agenda for several months and have read with interest several media and other online reports related to this process. These reports leave us with serious concerns related to the recommended actions staff has asked you to take. This procurement will impact local residents and ratepayers for over a decade; therefore, it is imperative that as board members representing taxpayers throughout our region, you are thoughtful, analytical, and deliberate in your actions.

First and foremost, we believe that it is fiscally imprudent to award a procurement of such a complex and technical nature without an independent fiscal and technical analysis. This contract involves the investment of well over $100 million of taxpayer dollars for necessary infrastructure. As one of the region’s largest capital investments of the coming years it is absolutely necessary that you protect the taxpayers’ investment by fully analyzing the proposals to ensure that these investments allow you to fully comply with the onerous regulatory requirements of SB1383 and ensure the selected vendor can deliver on the lofty promises contained in their respective bids.

Our understanding of staff’s fiscal analysis is that it was limited to only the early years of the contract, rather than the full term of the potential agreement. We believe it is fiscally irresponsible on a contract of this duration to not consider the costs over the full term of the agreement. This is especially true when the agreement requires such a large amount of capital equipment investment.

We are confident that you are well aware of these technical, regulatory, and fiscal issues. You demonstrated that when you approved a significant contract with a qualified company to fully
analyze the 30% design submissions. We are completely baffled, however, that staff never utilized this expertise to protect the authority and the taxpayers.

Additionally, we are deeply troubled by a number of issues that have been brought to light in regard to one of the companies submitting a proposal. More troubling is the appearance that the authority made no efforts to substantiate or disprove the allegations prior to making a recommendation. We understand that this company afforded an opportunity at the last meeting for staff or board members to ask questions related to these allegations – that opportunity was met with silence. Quite frankly, our members and the general public deserve, and demand, better.

With the length of this contract, we can ill afford to be victims of unanticipated rate increases or complete disruption of service that has been reported in other localities in relation to their waste services.

For these reasons, the Gold County Taxpayers Association asks you to not award a contract unless and until an independent full technical and fiscal analysis is completed. It is the only way
that taxpayers can be protected.

Yesterday, I got an article sent to me.

It was the announcement for a guy who got some notoriety for starting a re-open schools group. I did not know who he was as in the time I spent helping clear out the Teacher’s Union Moonbats from three School Boards in Placer County, I never heard his name.

Therein lies the rub. For so many years, I have seen people come out of nowhere and break in to the political scene.

One signature belongs to Jonathan Zachreson, a parent of three near Sacramento, who would often find his children asleep during their online school classes.

He said he voted for Newsom in 2018, but he’s since launched a 12,000-member Facebook group advocating for the return of schools and is an active member in the original 4,000-member Let Them Play group on Facebook, both of which have evolved into pro-recall groups.

Red Flag Number one. A democrat as of 2018. Unless he has a lifetime A Rating from California Pro-Life and a lifetime A+ rating from the NRA as a democrat (or NPP) while registered in another party, I have a rule that it takes at least 10 years to be credible as a Republican for a major office.

So often these boutique candidates overshoot the target. My guess is this guy thinks he is going to abuse the recall gavin lists and the lists he created from his facebook group with which to mount a campaign for Assembly.

Anyone that participated with this guy should have a bad taste in their mouth as it is clear that he always had an agenda the whole time he was engaged in the reopen schools effort.

Did he walk precincts for the Roseville High School Board Members? No.

Rocklin? No.

Roseville City School District? No.

Western Placer Unified? No.

Has he ever held office? No.

Has he ever done anything to advance the GOP? Help elect others? No.

Central Committee? Member of a GOP Club? No.

So now the fact that he voted for Newsom in 2018 becomes a much bigger deal. It is also made worse that if elected, he will be serving with Newsom (for whom he voted).

My guess is that as I look in to this guy, I am going to discover a stalking horse candidate. We shall see. AD05 looks like just another Republican Primary where 15 candidates will jump in as always.

And why is it so easy for your Intrepid Blogger to find one FCC contract after another with serious issues? Again, we ask where was the staff of the Western Placer Waste Management Agency and where was the board of the WPWMA?

It looks like there is another recent FCC disaster in Polk County Florida.

The problem with these new wrinkles, however, is that the county cut back on services even while charging more. The new contract hiked the annual cost of garbage collection by 23 percent.

Why am I not surprised to find another one of these so easily? Here is an editorial about the Polk Co paper about FCC once again.

The very biased staff of the WPWMA found an industrial accident by the company they railroaded in the bidding process, but they failed to mention that FCC killed someone in Polk County. The WPWMA staff should be ashamed of themselves.

BARTOW — The widow of a Lakeland man who died in February when the motorcycle he was riding was struck from behind by a garbage truck has settled her wrongful-death lawsuit against the driver and the trash hauler.

Court records show that Michelle DiMezza’s settlement, which isn’t disclosed in the court file, was approved Nov. 27 by Circuit Judge Catherine Combee.

DiMezza had sued FCC Environmental Services in Circuit Court in February, seeking in excess of $15,000 for the death of her husband, 53-year-old Michael Louis DiMezza. He had stopped his 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a red light at Socrum Loop Road and Lakeland Park Boulevard. It was about 5:30 a.m. Feb. 27, and he was northbound on Socrum Loop Road on his way to work as IT operations manager for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

In fact, your intrepid blogger has detailed several instances of FCC, major injury, death, etc. The WPWMA staff missed all of those, instead choosing to go on a rampage to manipulate the board in to believing that your intrepid blogger was the issue it appears.

The sloppy work by FCC in Polk is well documented and the Board of Commissioners (aka Supervisors in CA) went off on them.

Commissioners seem satisfied with the performance of Waste Management, which collects in the east half of the county. The frustration is aimed at FCC Environmental, which services the west side of the county, including unincorporated parts of Lakeland.

The operation with both companies is a $21.2 million expense to the county. For the service, residents pay $206 a year, which reflects a recent $10 increase.

Combee said in a phone call that he’s waiting for direction from county management over how to handle the matter since FCC is still under contract through 2024 to perform the work.

“Can we switch to the other contractor and have them do all the work?” he said. “Can we fire them? That’s what we are asking the county manager: How does that process work?”

Even more rate increases? But, I thought the WPWMA board did the fiscally conservative thing by choosing FCC???

A holiday season’s worth of trash sits in a smelly heap on the curb outside Graham Allen’s home.

It’s been 13 days and counting since a hauler has come through his Gibsonia neighborhood and emptied the bins, he told Polk County Commissioners on Tuesday.

“There’s a lot of trash and a lot of stink in the air,” said Allen, one of the roughly 147,000 residents of unincorporated Polk County who pays $206 a year for once-a-week trash pick-up.

It’s a service many residents on the west side of the county say they haven’t been regularly receiving.

Complaints against FCC Environmental about missed collections have mounted throughout much of 2021, and during the commission’s first meeting of 2022, the elected leaders took action to address the problem.

It looks like once again FCC can’t handle their s–t.

That’s a far cry from the technological innovations the company touted when the contract was secured in 2017, Commissioner George Lindsey said.

Sound familiar? Where was the technical review by the WPWMA???

Commissioners expressed shock that the company uses paper maps to keep track of its route.

Perhaps FCC gave the staff of the WPWMA paper maps of Madrid?

By a unanimous vote Tuesday, the commission directed County Attorney Randy Mink to send a letter to FCC Environmental with an ultimatum: Show improvement within 30 days or lose the job.

Would the WPWMA board do this? Would they cross swords with their staff?

In the month of July, Polk County received 1,248 complaints from residents who say their curbside trash wasn’t picked up by the county’s contracted haulers, according to data provided by the county.

That’s more than 40 complaints per day, nearly double the amount the county received in June.

Hey wait, isn’t this the 4th separate instance of FCC failing to do their job that your intrepid blogger has detailed since taking up this cause? Why the hell didn’t anyone in the back office or the WPWMA Board themselves ask any questions or even find this stuff out?

There is something key to note – FCC had part of Polk County and Waste Management the other. Note that it was FCC that was the disaster.

Something smells.

Some of you regular readers of this blog might be surprised to see this.

It is quite simple really. What issues matter in 2022. CRT. Covid. Socialism. Immigration.

The left HATE Tom McClintock. It is astounding.

“If we had prosecuted BLM and Antifa rioters across the country with the same determination these last six months, this incident may not have happened at all,” McClintock said during a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives.

Tom McClintock is right.

Attorney General Merrick Garland was “either lying or is completely out of touch with reality” when he claimed during testimony he did not know about the case of a Virginia teen who was raped in a school bathroom, Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., told Newsmax.

“That case has been a major news story across the country for many weeks, and it is fundamental to his order calling for the FBI to start watching parents at school board meetings,” McClintock told Tuesday’s “National Report.”

Tom McClintock is right.

Tom McClintock took to the Washington Examiner to tear in to the Branch Covidians in government and it set off howls from the swamp.

What happened when elected officials allowed the “experts” to run amok? First, they substantially overstated the severity of COVID-19. Eighty percent of people who get the virus have either no symptoms or experience it as a mild respiratory infection. In New York, 73.6% of those who died were over age 65, and just 0.06% were under the age of 18.

How did the “experts” follow this science? They closed schools and simultaneously packed nursing homes with infected patients.

Once epidemiologists began surveying general populations, they discovered the disease isn’t nearly as severe as the claims that had been used to justify these excesses. The CDC’s latest best estimate is that 0.4% of symptomatic cases are fatal. Seasonal flu kills 0.1%.

Simply stated, your chance of recovering from the flu is 99.9%, and for COVID-19 the recovery rate is 99.6%. For this, the “experts” threw more than 40 million Americans into unemployment, hitting the poorest families hardest.

You could imagine why the idiots that run the Sacramento Bee hate him. This stuff makes too much sense.

AS the vice-chairman of some subcommittee on Immigration, McClintock introduced a bill called the Illegal Immigrant Payoff Prevention Act.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom McClintock (CA-04), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship, introduced the Illegal Immigrant Payoff Prohibition Act of 2021.  House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan are principal co-sponsors.

The legislation will prevent the Attorney General from making settlement payments to individuals and families who entered the United States illegally.  It is a direct response to reports that the Biden Administration is proposing to pay as much as $450,000 per person to compensate families that unlawfully entered the United States.

Tom McClintock certainly knows Government and policy. Given the brain drain that is the California Congressional Delegation – he stands out as a Man amongst Boys.

I could go on, but as a Conservative, there is plenty to latch on to.

With that, Right On Daily endorses Congressman Tom McClintock for Re-election.
