Whoops. Your intrepid blogger has been told that the leadership of the Placer GOP is actively seeking to re-open the endorsement question in Placer’s 4th Supervisorial District.
As a public service to my readers and friends on the Placer GOP, your intrepid blogger has done some digging… and have found out a lot of interesting things about the erstwhile “Republican” Supervisor Suzanne Jones.
The most important appointment a Supervisor Makes is their Planning Commissioner. In the case of Suzanne, her choice is one that the Placer Business community is constantly at odds with: Daniel Woodward who is a Registered Democrat.
Planning commissioners are responsible for Re-Districting, and have a lot of say in what gets built where. In the case of Woodward, he has been a constant roadblock to anything resembling infrastructure and future development. And, he is reputed to be a progressive liberal democrat as well. This is a direct attack on the way of life you enjoy in Placer County!

Mental Health, Alcohol, & Drug Advisory Board – Suzanne Jones Appointed: Lisa Cataldo – Green Party.

This is the largest portion of the county budget there is! Think of this, Suzanne Jones appointed a far-left activist to the department that runs homeless programs. Does this person support unlimited Marijuana Grows in Placer County? (fyi: The Green Party Platform supports legalizing drugs) We all know that the far-left of California have made the homeless problem into a severe mess and one of their own was helped into a position of power by Suzanne Jones. This is a direct attack on your way of life.

Why did Suzanne Jones pick this person with the amount of power this position has? She put a far-left activist in a department with a budget in excess of 1/3 of a Billion Dollars!

Civil Service Commission: Tameka Usher – American Independent

This commission has influence over labor union contracts with public employees. Research shows that Tameka is a career bureaucrat with extensive government experience. From a fiscally conservative perspective whose side will she be on? Based on my research, it looks like Government.

To those of you concerned about pornography in libraries, the party that calls any attempt to review and scrutinize books for content “book banning” has one of their own on the Placer Library Board. Can you trust this person to stand up for parents? Why didn’t Suzanne Jones talk to the American Council for example for a recommendation before appointing a liberal democrat to the library board?

The Granite Bay MAC has historically been a roadblock to development and progress in Granite Bay, but this group is frequently overridden by the Board of Supervisors (Think about the recently built senior living facilities for example). While Sandy Harris is a Republican, my experience with her going back years is she is virulently anti-growth and has a penchant for supporting liberal Republicans and non Republicans for office.

Amber Beckler – registered as an NPP has been a mainstay based on what I have seen, at campaign events for the few Democrats that Placer County had in office (before Suzanne Jones started appointing a bunch of them). She was part of the anti-Republican coalition that supported Suzanne Jones for office in the first place.

Kevin begged for President Trump’s endorsement and then, once elected, votes with the RINO segment of the Republican In Name Only party.
Kevin Kiley’s RINO votes were so disgusting to me I left the Republican Party; however, as an Independent, I still caucus with President Trump.
So here were are again, with Speaker Johnson, showing his RINO colors, pushing another Omnibus spending bill that hides “where the money goes” from we, the American People and odds are “spineless” Kevin Kiley will vote with Johnson.
Picture a new 8 legged creature stalking us from Washington DC. It’s Speaker Johnson with Kevin Kiley with his head up his backside followed by McCarthy with his head up Kiley’s backside and PUSHING from the rear is Paul Ryan with his head up McCarthy’s backside. All in all, we have an 8 LEGGED MONSTER destroying our country, just as effectively as President Biden and his supporter, Charles Schumer, want to destroy it.
In the end, you can have your COMFORMITY in the Placer Republican Party; but I won’t be a part of it. FYI, I have an RFK, Jr. for President sign in my yard. I’ll most likely vote for Trump, even though California is slanted against Republicans, be they RINO or Honest like Suzanne Jones. And, I am openly pushing for a Trump/Kennedy ticket in 2024.

The Board of Supervisors is a non-partisan seat. I know nothing about Suzanne Jones but when she’s making appointments to commissions I would hope she isn’t concerned with party affiliation and instead appoints people who are smart, come to the meetings prepared, ask questions, do their homework, and make common sense decisions.

IF, Board of Supervisor(s) elections, are supposed to be NON partisan?
Why would a candidate need to seek an endorsement from a political faction? (Either Dem OR Repub). In this case, and based upon your assertion, Suzanne Jones should be asking for nominations from BOTH parties, no? Or neither, just to ensure non-partisan politics.
Just sayin……..but I’m pretty sure we all know, non-partisan seats are just as politically motivated as any other political race. Soon as you ask for an endorsement tho, you are putting yourself in a position of being partisan. Therefore there are, I would imagine, certain criteria that is expected for you to meet. Loading up your district with NON Republican individuals, who obviously don’t align with Republican values, is NOT productive to your own cause, in MY humble opinion.
IF, she gets her endorsement; IF, she keeps her seat; and IF, she gets to place more ‘anti-Republican’ thinking people in certain positions? Well, shame on YOU, not her. SHE’s going to do, what she’s been doing. The Placer GOP had the chance to out her, the Voting population didn’t HAVE to vote for her. So, in the end, you get what you get. Maybe not what you deserve, but there it is………..
Ok…The discussion here is heating up. Great comments on all sides here regarding what is partisan and what is a RINO. My question here is HOW do WE unite against the real nemesis of Placer County residents? County Counsel and Risk Management is being exposed for the gatekeeping fraudsters they are. How many gatekepers are there in Placer County? Jones’ appointments and endorsements have opened a Pandora’s box of inquiry by conservatives who voted for her. Keep digging and asking questions. Corruption (mostly non-elected!) is RAMPANT in the bloated Placer County government at ALL levels in both parties and we all know it. The Board of Supervisors know it very well. And the corrupt ones know that we know about them. How long can they hide before we fire them all? Blogger has open comments and I encourage all to speak up. Speak loudly. The time is now to make Placer an example freedom and light for all of California. There are more of us than the corrupt group. You are not alone.
