It’s a Great, Modern Platform! (Platform Shredding Committee)
Your Intrepid Blogger has decided to weigh in on more internal CAGOP BS. The Trump-supporting leadership of the CAGOP (remember the recent rules changes that Trump/McCarthy asked for?) is now in the process of eviscerating the CAGOP Platform.
When political parties make decisions based on one person’s needs, it is usually a disaster that does not work out well… this is borne out all over the country. What is fascinating here is that Donald Trump supporting people who changed the CAGOP Primary rules in a way he wanted, are also engrossed in shredding the party platform. I was told by multiple people involved in the late, sudden rules changes related to RNC Convention Delegates that the discussion was centered around Trump vs. DeSantis. Whoops.
FYI – Only one CAGOP Board Member, Greg Gandrud has publicly endorsed Ron Desantis. The canard being put out by Trump supporters that the CAGOP is supporting Ron DeSantis is an outright lie whose origin was with the crazed and often debunked Laura Loomer.
I guess since Trump / McCarthy got their way, they also own the platform disaster that is coming. A Similar group of people to those that rigged the CAGOP’s RNC rules are actively attempting to lurch the CAGOP to the left of center.
The California Tea Party Caucus did a write-up on the current versus the proposed platform. The amazing part, considering that Trump Supporters are at the helm of shredding the platform, is the removal of any language related to election integrity. That blows my mind. I took a couple screenshots of the Tea Party caucus document (linked here) so you could get a flavor of what the drafting/platform demolition committee did.
Given that the California Legislature is in the process of decimating Prop 13, the committee’s decision to almost eliminate it from the platform of the party is astounding.
There are consequences to letting political consultants and establishment squishes take over parties and processes. They do not like conservative values as a breed. (Not all, but most) When given a chance, they will engage in activity like this where they try to re-write stuff that makes them uncomfortable.
Say, “Abortion is Murder” around them and they react like Dracula seeing a cross.
I am not sure if there will be enough critical mass for the opposition to derail much of the proposed changes to the platform. But your intrepid blogger felt led to point out that the Convention for the CAGOP that is at the end of the month in September is going to be a mess and my belief is that the platform that will come out of it will be as well.
Ouch.
P.S. Right on Daily endorses the existing platform of the CAGOP unchanged and recommends it be re-adopted in lieu of this disaster.

Thank you, Aaron. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just seeing an issue with this so called, platform.
To those who read this blog site:
I am vehemently opposed to ANY removal of Proposition 13 in California. Our housing crisis would have been far worse, if that hadn’t have passed when it did. I am currently seeking to contact the Howard Jarvis group, seeking both their support and endorsement, for this effort.
There are three open challengers for the Governors office for 2026 already. Two more are waiting in the wings. ALL of them are Demo’s. Pelosi has thrown in for running, again. Not one Repub has openly challenged her. Not one. If biden is toast, Feinstein is toast, Mitch should be toast, WHY isn’t Pelosi being challenged to make her toast as well?
I get it, that this is a Presidential Year. What I don’t get, is how open this state is for opposition! The AG has basically declared WAR on parents; The DA of Oakland, is blaming anyone/everyone of being a racist, because they DEMAND action against crime and criminals. We’ve lost 41 BILLION in high end taxes, due to the departure of our 1%ers. We’ve LOST a Congressional seat in Congress, for the first time in over 170+ years since becoming a state; We’ve LOST another 500-700 thousand population due to the departure of said citizens, which would equate to yet another Congressional seat loss.
Steinburgs dumbazz wants to jack up sales tax in Sacto County for the next 40 years to 9.25%; Some union sweatheart deal will jack up fast-food service workers pay, to $20.00 an hour. Our gas prices are back to $5.15 a gallon, with winter fast approaching.
If anything, we should be pumping up folks who want to challenge the establishment!
Demo’s win, because it appears that no one cares to fight back. If we took our standing of today, and replaced the Alamo thinking of yesterday, there’d have BEEN no Alamo to remember! We would have handed it over; lost cause, not worth fighting for. We would have LOST WW2: lost cause, not worth it, too much to invest in, they have an advantage, etc.
The continentals got beat, OFTEN, by the British during our revolutionary war. Beat, sometimes badly. Yet, they still fought back. Washington got beat often. He came back.
We’ve been beaten in California for some years now, but we run? We hide? We wait for some earthshattering event which would MAYBE make a Repub Candidate, that we ALL like, that sounds good, that looks decent, that talks OK, that makes everyone/body happy, the only reason why we can’t win nor run? (Oh, and HAS to concentrate on money, because the platform doesn’t matter)
Hell will freeze over before that candidate ever appears. That person doesn’t exist. That situation, doesn’t exist. That model for running, should NEVER exist.
Matthew 17:20.
I’d like to get your support. I’d like to earn your trust, endorsement and vote.
I WILL, work for it. Question is: will you assist?
On Gun control?? I have something I’d like to share with Aaron about that topic. Once he receives it, he’ll be the one to decide, if my position on Gun Control is sufficient to publish. Till then, have a great evening!!
@Leo…You a candidate for Governor?
What state?
Oh…I know…
State of Confusion…

Thank you for your thoughtful input, your helpful pool of knowledge and for your support.
Sincerely,
Leo Naranjo IV
(R) Candidate for California State Governor 2026
There has been some talk of dumping the platform all together and adopting the RNC national platform, which is much more conservative than the ‘gutter wash’ being proposed, but that proposal did not gain traction.
we have a CRA group meeting as listed below:
Please join us at EPIC Bible College at 4330 Auburn Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95841, next Tuesday, September 12th, at 6:30 pm.
It should be interesting.
Lance Corporal – I’d take the RNC Platform, too
