You always hear the canard of “Vote your district” and “Gotta deal with D+XX district” being used as an excuse for bailing out and voting yes on some really BAD bills.
With the OCGOP gearing up to ignore their by-laws and preparing to attempt to endorse the Democrat-loving Nguyen, your intrepid blogger felt obligated to provide the political establishment in Orange County some reality…
First off, let’s start with an example of a GOOD endorsement by Janet Nguyen:

Van Tran and Janet Nguyen in different times (Credit Liberal OC, other open sources)
In 2017, Janet joined with Democrats to condemn President Trump’s immigration enforcement
See it here. My Favorite Parts are below:
WHEREAS, The Trump administration has justified its vast expansion of those targeted for deportation by falsely portraying the United States as a country under siege by a flood of undocumented immigrants who threaten public safety, giving rise to anti-immigrant fervor and a nativist desire to preserve our nation’s historically dominant Euro-Christian culture; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate of the State of California, That the Senate calls upon President Trump and Secretary Kelly to publicly and explicitly reaffirm the principles and content of the ICE policy memorandum dated October 24, 2011, regarding enforcement actions at or focused on sensitive locations; and be it further
Resolved, That the Senate calls upon Secretary Kelly to underscore to the public and to all United States Department of Homeland Security personnel that the policy on sensitive locations is not limited to enforcement at the sensitive location, but also to enforcement focused on sensitive locations, and that in other words, waiting across the street from a church or school for people to emerge from the sensitive location violates the policy as much as entering the location itself, as does following someone away from a press conference or other sensitive location so as to detain them; and be it further
Resolved, That the Senate calls upon Secretary Kelly to take affirmative steps, including public commitment to the sensitive locations policy, staff training, investigation or reports of past and future violations of the policy, including, but not limited to, investigating the incidents detailed in this resolution, and pursuing disciplinary action against personnel found to have violated the policy; and be it further
Resolved, That the Secretary of the Senate transmit copies of this resolution to the President and Vice President of the United States, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, the Majority Leader of the United States Senate, the Minority Leader of the United States Senate, and to each Senator and Representative from California in the Congress of the United States.

Basically, Janet Nguyen voted yes on a resolution attacking White people and the Trump administration policy of raiding illegal sanctuaries for illegal aliens. Great Job Janet Nguyen.
–
P.S. This crappy vote did not help Nguyen as she was swept out of office in 2018.
–
In 2016, Janet Nguyen voted to make it easier to commit welfare fraud by allowing welfare applications to be conducted electronically. SB497
So, in effect, Janet Nguyen allowed people to apply for welfare by using an absentee ballot. This allows people to never have to show the social worker the Bentley parked in their driveway and makes it much harder to verify information given in the application process.
When you add in extreme left-wing counties like Los Angeles that are riddled with welfare fraud, you know that Nguyen’s vote (which did not help her get re-elected) enabled that problem to get worse as you can make bank few, if any absentee welfare applications ever get cross-checked.
Fasten your seat belt, there’s more…

Just a question for the owner, or anyone else who’d like to chime in.
This janet person, was in Senate District number 36, right? Katie Sanchez was in Assembly district 71, right? These two women, seem to be alumni of the CAGOP Trailblazers.Hmmm.
According to their info:
”
Senator Janet Nguyen was elected to represent the 36th Senate District in 2022. Janet is a small-business owner, former State Senator for the 34th Senate District, former State Assemblywoman for the 72nd District, and a former Orange County Supervisor. She is the former Vice-President of Government and Public Affairs for a local Chamber of Commerce. As a State Senator, she was named Legislator of the Year by the American Legion, the Association of the United States Army and the Vietnam Veterans of America. Senator Janet Nguyen was named “Champion of Manufacturing” by the California Manufacturers and Technology Association for her work to protect jobs.
Senator Janet Nguyen is known for her “firsts.” With her victory to represent the 72nd Assembly District, Assemblywoman Nguyen was the first woman to represent the 72nd Assembly District, the first Vietnamese-American in the country to be elected to serve both the State Senate and State Assembly, the highest-ranking Vietnamese-American elected official in California and the only Asian American woman Legislator in California. ”
Something is amiss here. Oh, and I worked in the Welfare office for over 11 years in Sacramento, CA. Fraud? Where did you wish to start. At the ‘ client ‘ level, or the OFFICE level? It’s rampant on both ends.
