The Republican Conservative Coalition can do better than George Yang.
Why is George Yang trying to depose Steve Frank? Your intrepid blogger wants to know…
The Republican Conservative Coalition is a group of people who got together to oppose the current leadership of the CAGOP and who are attempting to get the CAGOP to go a more conservative direction. Works for me. I think the CAGOP has been way too squishy for a long time.
https://republicanconservativecoalition.org/
This group was started by Steve Frank who now finds himself in the crosshairs of George Yang.
Who is George Yang, he has been a CAGOP delegate from the Bay Area for a long time. I first met him because he was a long time friend and acolyte of Peter Kuo. Some believe that Yang has similar ties to Red China like Kuo does. I have no evidence at this time to validate that claim.
What I find interesting is Yang’s sudden interest in being a part of several groups that I had never seen him a part of previously. I had been around CRA since 1999 for example and had never seen George Yang as a part of CRA until very recently. Is Yang’s interest solely so he could advance himself as some sort of leader in California Politics? I have been told that he has helped CRA Grow and has been one of the few active Senate District Directors. Again, all recent.
I also note the timing of Yang’s interest in stuff CAGOP with the retirement of Peter Kuo from CAGOP politics.
Yang’s name has started popping up on the Judeo-Christian Caucus’ emails as well. The very sudden nature of seeing Yang everywhere is setting off alarm bells.
I was very friendly to Yang when he ran for superintendent of public instruction. I am not friendly to him now that it appears he is attempting to feather his own nest. It would have made a lot more sense to attempt to resolve a change in leadership of the Conservative Coalition internally versus engaging in open warfare.

I know George, but I never see him active in Conservative GOP groups. He is not affiliated with the Tea Party, he is not College Republicans, he is not Women Federated. That leave the CRA and I was not even aware that he had been involved in CRA leadership. The Chair of the CCR needs to be a person that can balance each different group, understand each group, know the hopes and aspirations of each group and try to get them to work together. Sometimes Steve pisses me off and we don’t always agree, but his heart is always in the right place and he had the pollical skills and knowledge to get the various groups to work together–and I support his continuing efforts and what he is trying to do. Now if Johnny Morgan from the CRA was running for RCC chair, that would be a a viable alternative, but don’t see Geroge Yang as the right choice for this position.
The CRA, Tea Party and their fellow travelers have been a serious dumpster fire for years. Now it appears they’re about to become a “Chinese Fire Drill”?
Could George Yang, Vic Maraini and Tom Weismiller now be “Useful Idiots” for their overlords in Beijing?
How old to your Dim Sum Dr. Jones, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
The RCC is a dying organization. Cordie Williams, one of the founders, left; Woody Woodrum, vice President, left; Randall Jordan, representing the Tea Party on the Board of the RCC, left. The RCC is already unable to make payments they had promised to multiple people, people like Lee De Meo, The RCC doesn’t have 2 pennies to rub together.
This is not a take over. There is nothing to be taken over. This is a rescue operation. George Yang had no plan to run for the RCC. In fact at the CRP convention he told me he needed a break from politics will vacation in Egypt in May. He only agreed after multiple people on the Board of the CRA and College Republicans asked him to lead this rescue mission to make the RCC work like it was designed to work.
It takes a lot of a courage to step in to save a dying organization.
As to the laughable and groundless insinuation of link to China, a simple Google search will show that George Yang has been working for years with the good people in Epoch Times, Sounds of Hope, and NDTV to bring down the Chinese Communist Government.
@James – I would love to hear from some of the people that recruited George to run for that. aaron@rightondaily.com Thank you.
Vacationing in Egypt? Sounds like Comrade Yang is onto the Silk Road?
@James (and so everyone else reading this knows), I, Lee De Meo, HAVE NEVER BEEN PROMISED any payments of any kind from the RCC.
As far as the folks you said left, Cordie Williams left early on for personal and family reasons. And neither Randall Jordan or Woody Woodrum has left the RCC. Both Have decide not to run for the RCC Board for the next year.
And as far as the RCC being a dying organization, you are absolutely wrong. We got six of our twelve endorsed CAGOP Candidates elected at the last CAGOP Convention.
We are not dying, We are just getting started.
The above post is laughable to its core.
The author knows he’s lying, and now he’s attempting to cover up his lie.
EVERY recruited and endorsed RCC candidate failed and failed miserably.
One of your Board Members apparently on a weekend furlough from the Nut House, challenged one of your “endorsed” candidates by lying and spread more misogynist, racist, and just plain garbage to the delegates.
If the RCC is growing, I say call in a panel of Oncologists.
Well, this is interesting. Intrepid blogger, makes a post and exclaims some ‘ things’ that maybe, aren’t right in lala land. Again, there is some talk, about this RCC group. Hmmm, that set of letters came up in OUR CRA meeting some time past. (hold that thought) Now, someone named MEO, (I’ll refrain), says, ” they ain’t NEVER, ever, ever, EVER, got any payments from the RCC.” If they made the promise to pay, is it in their logs? Where was/is that written or was that a gentleman’s agreement? Meo confirms someone left, however the ‘ due to personal and family reasons ‘ is a sourpuss excuse when other things are REALLY going on. Not running tho not leaving a group sounds shady at best. Meo claims, a 50% success rate in candidates getting elected at the last CAGOP convention. This years, last years, or 2plus years ago, convention? Then there’s PAT’s comments. Hmmmm. We may disagree on MANY things, but one thing is certain: PAT usually makes comments that are consistant. I’ve noticed very little deviation in them. With that said, Pat’s comments pretty much blows up Meo’s statements. So, there is only one truth here: Either Meo’s lying or Pat is. From what I”ve seen in my years of being on this forum, (QQing at the write up), I’m gonna side with PAT on this one.
So @Pat McGroin and @Leo of Sacramento
My statement concerning the RCC getting 6 of our 12 Endorsed Candidates elected at the last Spring CAGOP Convention:
Here is the link to our RCC Website showing our endorsements:
https://republicanconservativecoalition.org/candidates/
And these are the results of those election (our candidate and the result):

Vice Chairman — Mark Wright – lost
Secretary — David Dhillon – lost
Treasurer — Gregory Gandrud – WON
Bryan Pritchard – North Western Regional Vice Chair – WON
Laurie Wallace – Northern regional Vice Chair – WON

Johanna Lassaga – 1st Vice Chair Chairmen’s Association – WON

Should you want to verify these results yourself:
Link to GAGOP website page listing the curreent CAGOP Board;
https://www.cagop.org/s/about?tabset-9a3aa=d691e
You will see Bryan Pritchard, Laurie Wallace, Randall Jordan and Greg gandrud listed as members of the Board with the offices they Won.
As far as the Chairmen’s Association, for Johanna Lassaga and Lani Kane-Urquiza, they are not positions that are CAGOP Board, but are position of the County Chairmen’s Association (CCA). They will not be listed on the CAGOP Website.
The statements I said about Cordie Wiliams, Randall Jordan and Woody Woodrum are true to the best of my knowledge.
And finally, you won’t find any note, minutes etc saying the RCC has offered to pay me anything because that did not happen.
If either of you are going to accuse someone of lying, then you really shouldn’t do it unless you have researched and proved it.
@Meo
So, let me begin with, thank you for your version of events.
50% of your candidates won in THIS CAGOP convention. Still 50%. Losing by 1 vote is the same as losing by 1,000,000 votes. Ya lost. That part of my question is true. (go back and reread it if you’re confused)
As to your supposed payment promises? James made the statement, you denied it. Again, someone isn’t telling the truth: Either you or James. Which is why I asked, is there a record of such a promise? And if so, WHO made it? (again, I posed a question)
You stated: “The statements I said about Cordie Wiliams, Randall Jordan and Woody Woodrum are true to the best of my knowledge.” Yup, and so is what I said as well.
You claimed: “And finally, you won’t find any note, minutes etc saying the RCC has offered to pay me anything because that did not happen.” Because no notes were made or allowed? Was it a verbal agreement? Where does James fit in, and how would he know if you were offered payments in the first place? Who is he? To your statement, I’d say ” to the best of my knowledge ” would have given you more cover, but I’m new so, I get lost in translations.
One can accuse anyone of anything, YOU (if you’re in politics) should know that at least.
You speak as if you’re a spokesperson for the RCC, and some comments were made about Mr Yang, to which you deftly sidestepped or ignored. Interesting.
In any event, You sidestepped the ‘ nut house ‘ comments Pat made just as deftly. I again say, WE may disagree on many things, but seems PAT stays consistent with their comments. I stated that: ” So, there is only one truth here: Either Meo’s lying or Pat is. From what I”ve seen in my years of being on this forum, (QQing at the write up), I’m gonna side with PAT on this one.” I stated a question, and took a side, PAT’s in this case, on whether you or PAT were lying. For your satisfaction, yup, looks like I ” inferred ” that you’re being dishonest/less than truthful/lying, but please show me where I directly accused you of lying? QQing. Nope, not there.
If I was going to accuse you of anything, it wouldn’t be sugar coated with flowery words or soft coated.
Have a great day and a wonderful afternoon!!!
I find this comment by Pat very strange:
“EVERY recruited and endorsed RCC candidate failed and failed miserably.
One of your Board Members apparently on a weekend furlough from the Nut House, challenged one of your “endorsed” candidates by lying and spread more misogynist, racist, and just plain garbage to the delegates.”
Strange indeed….. BTW I know Lee J Dee Meo. I have always found him to be honest and a stright shooter. Not a liar at all… Where as I know that Aaron has, at timesin the past, twisted the truth and used ‘garbage’ souses. Strange indeed.
