AD-73 Update: Laurie Davies Getting Media and Endorsements Usually Reserved for Incumbents AND Ian Calderon Ducks Out

Did Ian Calderon get the message that Bill Brough is refusing to heed? Your intrepid blogger has been told several times that as many as four current members of the legislature are being investigated for misconduct. (Of which Bad Billy is one) Something is coming for Bad Billy.

Bill Brough has allegedly changed his story now, telling people that he basically has no job to go to once out of the Assembly. The implication is that he will play ball if someone hires him. I am not sure what the job market is for a 51 year old philanderer with an alcohol problem and a history of personal failure that will tell anyone what a victim he is when asked. The Good news for Bill Brough is that God is waiting for him any time he decides to surrender his will and even at age 51, God still would have something to work with.

That said, other community leaders are no longer waiting on Bill Brough to go gracefully. It appears that Brough’s rage-fueled filing that he proudly posted on social media has triggered reactions. (Speaking of my admonition about Brough meeting his daddy, his drill instructor and his psychiatrist once his filing is complete)

While I have not endorsed a replacement for Bad Billy. (I am rather enjoying Ed Sachs’ Social media stuff but know his campaign is likely headed nowhere) I also remember Melanie Eustice from the days when she worked for Ted Gaines and am not sure why she believes she has a chance to win. My memories of her are positive though, they can stay that way if she gets out.

Then we have a clear front-runner to replace Bad Billy. Clear. I’ve been a party to a blizzard of insider information that indicates that Bill Brough is going to have a really lousy December. This could easily empty a case of Popov, Paid for with his campaign credit card for a strategy meeting.
