Kelly Ernby had a fundraiser last week. Note how lonely Tyler Diep is in the room. Count ’em folks – 12 people. Most of them look like Lawyers. It also looks like this event was shoved in to a broom closet or something too.

Now – let’s contrast this to Diane Dixon:

Diane (in the Red) is pictured with former Governor Pete Wilson Marie Waldron and Shannon Grove – there is an interesting aside. Dixon and very close to Laurie Davies who is running against the troubled Bill Brough in AD73. She has publicly endorsed Davies – yet here she is with Former Governor Pete Wilson, and the two GOP Minority Leaders who have yet to do anything related to the Brough situation. This proves that each race is a separate issue.

Secondly and more importantly – look at the room. I was told there were over 100 people that appeared during the course of the evening. I can see about 30 in this photo.

Regardless of my feelings towards Pete Wilson, his is an endorsement that plays well in Southern California. (It does not in my area) This is significant considering that Ernby has a few decent endorsements of her own that have amounted to next to no momentum or resources.

So I ask again, why is Kelly Ernby running for AD74? She is polling at 4%, unlike Dixon who has significant name ID.

Also, based on the flow of communication, it looks like Kelly has had some campaign staff turnover. This is yet another sign that things are not going well for Empty Ernby.
