img_4841I’d like to introduce Phil Ozenick to the concept of “Householding”. When you household mail, it combines all the names of the people in to one address line. This allows a candidate / business to send ONE Piece of mail to an address.

In Ozenick’s childhood years, mail was still delivered by horseback in certain areas of America and telegraphs were still in use as telephones had not reached all areas of America.

When Phil Ozenick (who is a WWII Veteran) joined the Air Force, prop-driven aircraft were just beginning to be phased out of front-line combat. It is possible that he got lost in time.

photo0While musing about the possible reasons why Mr. Ozenick would do such an absurdly stupid thing with his mail – it occurred to me there was something else wrong. Several people reported that “Friends of Roseville” a non-profit that Mr. Ozenick has controlled for years also mailed a “newsletter” that many received the same day as the shotgun blast mailer from Mr. Ozenick.

Have good, close look. The Bulk Mail Permit is the same permit on both pieces.

Further, it is the permit that F.O.R.E. has used for years as they have railed against everything resembling progress in Roseville.

A close look at the F.O.R.E. newsletter shows that it contains word-for-word the same verbiage as Mr. Ozenick’s mailer.

For those of you living under a rock, scandal-riddled Hillary Clinton is in hot water over coordinating campaign activities with a Non-Profit. If true, it is a felony.

While the nature of Mr. Ozenick’s actions are not as severe as a Federal Felony, coordination with a local non-profit in a local campaign COULD result in felony prosecution. It most certainly jeopardizes the Non-Profit status of F.O.R.E. and opens Mr. Ozenick up to a bevy of campaign finance fines.

However, the mailing foibles suggest that Mr. Ozenick got the voter registration list and sent his mailer and the F.O.R.E. mailer to it. That is indeed a crime to use the voter registration list to send a non-political mailer to – this is the only plausible way the F.O.R.E. mailer could go to each household members individually like the campaign mailer did.

img_4842Several candidates have complained that Ozenick is stealing their signs, uprooting their signs and throwing them out or simply placing his in front of theirs. Ozenick is also placing Rene Aguilera signs with his own. So why would Ozenick obey the law related to campaign mail?

I have noticed as well that Ozenick has signs at the homes of local democrat activists as well. Some Republican he is.

The messaging on his mailer is 100% anti-development. It includes talking points trashing city programs that fixed blight and aging buildings in downtown. He specifically attacks RCDC.

The #EPICFAIL? The back side of the mailer is a disaster. The man who has a doctorate from USC and was a career military man sent a mailer with multiple typographical errors.

Under the 10 year old picture of Ozenick is a poorly laid out messaging with multiple typos – it is also about as honest as the way he has ran his campaign. The messaging disaster makes me wonder if he did this mail piece in the afternoon.

Phil Ozenick is best talked to before noon by which time the Gin/Vodka/Whiskey has taken its’ toll. (Ozenick would never come close to Tequila as it is made by brown people not named Rene) I can only draw the conclusion that Ozenick was inebriated more than usual when he laid this out.

  1. The mailer says he was a Placer County Supervisor from 19914-1994. Did he mean 1914-1994?
  2. The mailer talks about “fire protection personner”. What are personner? Prisoners? Parishioners?
  3. The Californian Republic Assembly is listed as an endorser. Is he referring to the leper colony or some new group no one has heard of?
  4. “HJTA of Prop 13 says…” <<< WHAT THE F%&^%^&* WAS THAT?

I will stop here in my analysis as I am getting wasted just trying to read the THREE pieces that arrived at my Brother’s house.

OK, bonus – what the hell are Eco-Friendly roads? Anyone? Maybe when the mail comes by horseback there will be something from Ozenick explaining it.

Phil Ozenick, at 92 years young, has become the first candidate EVER to achieve the full-on 180 proof #EPICFAIL campaign award.
