Want to know how you spend $140million and take down every candidate of your own party?

When your opponent puts this on the air:

California fired Arnold and everything that looked like him. Thanks Meg.

I keep beating this drum as I am continuing to see the arrogance of those on her team who are actually trying to place blame elsewhere for this disaster.

Watch the ad… it is the entire campaign in 62 seconds.

Gina Garbolino is the termed-out past mayor / current councilmember of Roseville. Her protege’ Tim Herman finished Second in the recently concluded City Council race and will succeed her.

My Family and I met Gina Garbolino at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce (as we did Tim Herman) in 1997.

Linda and Gina hit it off and became friends. It was an enduring friendship that survived Mine and George’s foray in to Partisan Republican politics.

I am writing this publicly, but this is what many people in Roseville knew… Gina was a family friend and was and is off-limits. I never took her on for the disagreements I had with her.

Gina Garbolino was always a straight-shooter. She did what she believed was right for Roseville. I watched her for the last eight years and can say that she served with class and integrity.

She endorsed Charlie Brown and donated to Jerry Brown and no one on Roseville’s right seemed to care. It is because Gina knew the art of diplomacy – her door was always open and she has built a ton of community goodwill.

In that stead – Tim Herman won for a lot of the same reasons. My Charge to him would be to parlay the relationships he has built over the years (that got him elected) to build bridges to people (like myself) that are not currently aligned with him.

Tim Herman has promised two things – to be a pro-business vote and to bring Drexel University to Roseville. If Mr. Herman is able to balance his green-streak with a true record of promoting business in Roseville… I’d be impressed.

I view both Gina Garbolino and Tim Herman as liberals. But, at the same time – I believe that Gina served Roseville well and that Roseville will miss her leadership.

I hope I can say the same about Tim Herman in four or eight years.

AD-04 Update: Nutting and Briggs Give rightondaily the Beat-Down

Hey – what can I say, I have friends in politics. They tell me stuff, and my friends in El Dorado County think Nutting and Briggs hate each other. The recent Sheriff’s Race was epic and it pitted Nutting vs Briggs with the candidates as proxies – as it was told to me.

Both El Dorado County Supervisors are rumored candidates for AD-04. Both left comments on a previous post – which are being re-posted here in their entirety:

Ron Briggs wrote:

for the record, Ray and I are friends, we often lock horns due to conflicting styles but those fights are left at the dais after each vote.

My decision to enter the 4th AD will be on an ability to win.

Ray Nutting just posted last night:

Thank You,

For the opportunity to share info

I regret that your information to the public uses such words like hate. Ron Briggs and I sit next to each other as members of the Board of Supervisor’s in El Dorado County. We get along just fine. We have our differences but are very respectful.

This state is heading in the wrong direction and is very disconnected with reality. The state election results is very sad. We can’t continue to raise tax’s and to curb business activity. I am taking a serious look at running for the fourth assembly seat.

Your information is wrong about how many people I represent. I represent over 180,000 people. That is the population of El Dorado County.

Please feel free to get in touch with me (redacted) or http://www.raynutting.com

For the record – I was referring to Ray’s sup district that elected him, not the entire county when I mentioned that he represented about 30,000 people.

Based on the above input – it may be a safe bet that only one of these guys files for AD-04.

Susan Rohan won Big – she almost doubled second-place finisher Tim Herman. David Larson is the big loser as he was telling local Media he was going to overtake Sam Cannon for third place. Didn’t happen.

There was one huge upsetting of election night results. Vic Markey was beating Miguel Ucovich by 27 votes, after certification, Ucovich won by 3 votes.

Eric Teed-Bose thrashed left-wing moonbat Andy Sheehy by 950+ votes in the final talley. Sheehy spent $8500 vs. Teed-Bose. Considering that Teed-Bose won with 5790 Votes, 900 votes is a whuppin. (I guess Andy’s people should have destroyed more signs)

The Reverend Karen England got 1302 votes for Lt Governor vs the 4K plus she got for Central Committee – an Assembly Campaign is born.

The rest of the upsets held – Suzanne Jones won by nearly 900 votes, the two tea party candidates in Lincoln increased their margins and George Romonsky prevailed by nearly 900 votes over his opponent.
