This post is dedicated to the Junior Information minister that left the following comment:

Aaron, your lame attempt to smear DeVore clearly reveals only one thing. Your desperate attempt to save Carly’s impending demise. Look at a REAL poll for a change; All three candidates are now within single digits of each other, after DeVore surged in the last few weeks, while Campbell and Carly were stagnate. Instead of your unfounded innuendos, look at the FACTS about DeVore on Senator Jim DeMint’s web site, where you’ll find facts and support for real, honest, true Conservatives. Give it up Dude, your mud throwin’ ain’t working.

I guess I am denying the inevtable – the massive attack on Facebook is going to turn the tide of the election.

Or maybe this is another delusional tactic of a campaign in it’s death throws. This election cycle has indeed been bizarre.

Another polling firm called Magellan Strategies Surveyed the Race and posted their results. (along with numbers showing Poizner in the hole by 35)

DeVore doesn’t have it and Republican voters know who Thomas the Tax Engine is – Game, Set, Match, Carly.

Oh and Boxer? Carly is in a statistical dead heat with her an pretty much every poll that has come out in the last week. This should be a great General Election – the Dems think so, they sent the Chosen One out to get Boxer some campaign bailout money.

CA-Sen Update: Chuck DeVore and Mickey Klaus – Mirror Images?

Mickey Klaus Debated a Cardboard Box the other day as Barbara Boxer refuses to debate him. Sounds like a familiar mantra.

Click Here to see photos and Mickey Klaus Blog post about his successful debate against a cardboard box. I am sure all 50 people that attended were scintillated by his appearance.

Mickey has a dedicated throng of followers who work Twitter and Facebook. He has a dedicated cadre of followers that monitor blogs and comment on them. So does Chuck DeVore.

While DeVore can claim to be Rambo – Klaus has to settle for more mortal assertions about himself.

For as much as Klaus and DeVore are different in ideaology – they are alike in cause and result.

Another Day, Another Poll. Hail Mary Mother of Grace, Chuck DeVore is in 3rd Place! (again)

Party’s over, pour the Tea down the drain.

Consider this: Boxer brought Obama to California and has raised $1.5 Million in one day as a result. This is a record and also means that Boxer / the Socialists are freaked out nervous about Carly.

He bought two spots on the season finale of 24. This means he ‘ministered’ to roughly 4 Million Californians. If you factor only those here legally, reduce to 3.5 Million. Then of those, the number actually registered to vote, call it 2 Million.

When you factor the 62% that have no opinion of Chuck in the Latest Poll – that reduces the number to about 800,000.

Given the 10 seconds or less attention span of TV watchers and the usual activities that occur in households during Commercial breaks – I will give Chuck about 25,000 more votes as a result of those two spots.

25,000 votes is roughly .1% of the Expected Republican electorate.

When you add in Chuck’s I am Rambo video and the campaign email today touting a different poll with a small sample size… you have a recipe for therapy appointments.

And now the PPP poll comes out today. Guess what? Carly 41 Campbell 21 Other 20% and the rest undecided.

That same poll has Poizner going down in flames.

Take a look at this snippet from the PPP folks: The entire PPP summary is linked here.

It’s hard to build name recognition in a state as big and expensive as California, and Fiorina is the only one of the Senate candidates who’s known to more than half of Republican primary voters. 46% have a favorable opinion of her to 17% with a negative one and 37% having no opinion. By comparison 54% of voters have no opinion about Campbell to 28% with a positive one and 19% with an unfavorable one, and DeVore is even less well known with 62% having no opinion about him to 24% with a favorable one and 14% with a negative one.

Their conclusion is also pretty clear:

There’s been a large shift in the state of this race over the last few weeks so it seems plausible the electorate is fluid enough that Fiorina could still lose. But with a 20 point lead and opposition to her split among two candidates she looks like the overwhelming favorite at this point.

The only question I have at this point is – will “Other” beat Tom Campbell by election day?

Is this another case of Media Bias?

Or is this simply a case of inveitability?

This – ladies and Gentlemen is a screen shot of Eyewitless News ABC 7 in LA.

Now, we all know these guys are probably rooting for Tom Campbell. But, they could not label him as other.

I seriously doubt that the Fiorina Campaign would be touting this poll if it was not something close to accurate.

Please click here for the New Chuck DeVore Campaign theme song. This is a dedication from the Blogger formerly known as Sgt. York to Retired Reserve Colonel Chuck DeVore.

This is an excerpt from today’s email from the Fiorina Campaign:

The poll shows Fiorina leading the Republican candidates for U.S. Senate with 46 percent support; her opponent, Tom Campbell, earns 23 percent of the vote. This represents a 34-point net gain for Fiorina since the last poll conducted by KABC/SurveyUSA was released May 11. Chuck DeVore trails a distant third, garnering the support of 14 percent of voters; 11 percent of voters remain undecided.

Last week, the Public Policy Institute of California released its poll of California’s U.S. Senate race, which showed Fiorina leading Campbell 25 percent to 23 percent. In that survey, DeVore garnered 16 percent support, with 36 percent of voters undecided.

Marketing 101.

Chuck DeVore’s Blumenthal Moment Gone Viral – What Would Jack (Bauer) Do!? (Vote for Carly)

… ’cause Jack Bauer (the fabled character from 24) recognizes leadership.

I was graced with a new Chuck DeVore for Information Minister (er Senate) video.

It was supposed to Commemorate Chuck DeVore’s successful on-line fundraiser that allowed him to buy a second spot (as opposed to the one he had saved for already) in tonight’s 24 finale. (I’ll be at the gym)

If fell way short of being the Demon Sheep or the Boxer Zepplin – it’s boring and unimaginative. (Not only did I approve this Ad, I wrote it)

There are a few things that stick out in addition to the obvious bonfire of Middle-Aged-Male-Ego – one is that this is a response to his Chuck Devore- Dick Blumenthal Moments.

Now – he does not address the mis-characterization of his status with the military (as in Retired) to get a better ballot designation. He only states the true nature of his service near the end of his video.

I also noticed that this dodges any mention of Chuck DeVore claiming credit for the Arrow Missile System. (Something Duncan Hunter politely rebuked him for) Of course, Ego does not allow room for apology.

It does include the sound of gunfire (refer to the DeVore: I am Rambo post for more) in an attempt to further clarify his image. Truth: DeVore is probably in more danger from this blog than he ever was in the Golan Heights…

It does include the usual vote for the uniform VS Barbara Boxer creed we have consistently seen from the Information Minister.

I was quite disappointed that the only mention of the constitution was a pan over his lawn signs. (Which violate principle number one of signs – never, ever have your picture on them – especially if you’re pretty, people get jealous…)

All in all – this is more Jim Jones action for the 14-16% that DeVore is polling right now. I am sure that the those that stick around on election day are going to feel cheated when the Retired (I mean Reserve) Colonel finishes third.

Not since the Todd Vander Veen “Moderate Republican” signs have I seen anything so brilliant from a campaign.

Day 4 of the Blumenthal Moment for DeVore – if he keeps this up, he might match Meg Whitman’s 15-day extension of the I didn’t vote, maybe I voted, when I didn’t actually vote saga. (However, by then, he’ll be out of time)

Sometimes, it takes a lowly, lowly enlisted sailor to tell an officer – you’ve land-navigated in to a wall dude.

Meantime, Carly has hit 46% in the polls.
